There are so many brands of alfredo sauce at the store. They all taste good, but if you want to elevate your dish to a whole new level, you need to follow these tips to get the best flavors out of your food.
Here are my tips:
Add extra grated cheese: No matter what types of jarred alfredo sauce you bought, adding extra grated cheese will elevate your dish and give it additional flavors. The best cheese to use is grated Parmesan cheese. Our favorite is this grated Parmesan and Romano cheese. They taste so good and go very well with other recipes.
Add more cream: We use heavy cream. It elevates the sauce and makes it thicker, creamier, and will not dry the pasta. Using the cream is optional, but we recommend using it if you want your dish to be creamier and better. If you don’t have cream, you can substitute it with milk and a little bit of butter.
If you want healthier options, an Alfredo sauce is already high in fat and calories, so read the nutrition labels to find healthier alternatives. There are many kinds of light Alfredo sauce options out there.
The cream will increase the calories, but you can add some veggies to make the dish healthier.
Use fresh garlic: Many jarred Alfredo sauce already has garlic because of its health benefits and tastes but don’t stop there; use extra garlic. It adds more flavors to the dish.
Season with black pepper: The spiciness of the black pepper enhances the flavor of the Alfredo sauce.
Mix the cooked pasta directly into the sauce, not the sauce on top of the pasta: If you mix the cooked pasta inside the sauce, the pasta will better absorb the sauce, and the pasta won’t dry, so combine them.

Choose the ones with real ingredients, including cream, butter, and cheese. The ones that have a blend of Parmesan and Romano cheese are the best.

HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN FETTUCCINI ALFREDO WITH JARRED ALFREDO SAUCE
1- Cook pasta according to the directions written on the package.
While the pasta is cooking, heat the skillet on medium-high heat. Add olive oil. Then sauté the minced garlic for about one minute.
2- Next, add the chicken breast. Cook until the meat is done and there is no more water.
3- Now, pour the Alfredo sauce, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Then season with black pepper and let simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
4- Lastly, add cooked pasta, mix well and remove from the stove. Garnish with chopped fresh Italian parsley and more shredded parmesan cheese.

- 1/4 Cup Grated Parmasen cheese
- Salt and Pepper to taste
